Olsen & Johnson, American Humor at its zaniest!
In the 1930's, Olsen and Johnson were one of the most successful comedy teams in America. They'd paid their dues with Vaudeville in the 1920's, and by 1936 had a Broadway Review called "Hellzapoppin'" that ran over 1400 shows, and was a major-release film in 1941.
This is a long episode of the old "Fireball Fun-For-All" TV show in 1949 that features Olsen, Johnson, and 50 members of their then touring review. Lots of prop humor, sketch humor, you'll see where both Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and Hee Haw Collection got a lot of their inspiration. Musical numbers, trained dogs, jugglers, unicycle stunts, and fun, fun, fun!
